I would just like to say that Rittmo was always there to encourage us and pat us on the back. His comments and lyrics were truly inspiring. I was so happy, even more so now, that Rittmo took my song "Andy" and added his moving lyrics, entitled "Wide Open Spaces". I wrote "Andy" as a tribute to a friend who was taken from us too early and Rittmo's lyrics were a beautiful and fitting addition. Now I think of them both whenever I hear this song. Thank-you Rittmo and may you rest in peace!

Wide Open Spaces
there's a beat coming
over the distant hills
open hand strumming
can you feel the thrill
a low rumbling kind a drumming
electricity, dancing beneath your feet
it can't be properly explained
but it feels like something, of a treat
a song of wide open spaces
a song of uninterrupted shorelines
and it's true one day nature will heal itself
even if the top of the food chain
can't make reason or rhyme
plates will shift
as they've always done
the sand will sift
in favor of no one
we are the great observers
though we think we know more
but the Good Lord says
don't worry, let me keep score
a song of wide open spaces
a song of uninterrupted shorelines
and it's true one day nature will heal itself
even if the top of the food chain
can't make reason or rhyme
