In memory of Ritt, a collaboration I did with him back in 2006. I did 2 songs with him in all. He always made me think. She was there, my soul was hungry
Irony is she wanted money
We arranged a nice flat rate
To Feed my soul and contemplate

Sometimes silent, sometimes loud
But only us two, never a crowd
In the beginning she played my mind
After that I wanted more time

She’s ambiguous, makes me feel secure
There’s a fine line between her office and the tenth floor
She’s ambiguous, though I get nervous
When she raises her eyebrow I’m thinking to myself
Not me not now, not me not now

She knows me I won’t know her
Our sessions pass by in a blur
I never thought my soul would speak
But it finds her soul there one a week
She projects my every word
No matter the subject or how absurd
Can she really know my mind
Confused out of tune without a rhyme

I tell her I’m wrapped in flames
She looks ahead and never cranes
I am a made inside this fire
I’m am eternally trapped
She casually asks
