I didn't know Rittmo, never met him in person but we came in contact through Song Ramp, a music site where people could post their music or their poetry/lyrics for others to listen to.


I had posted a few songs and instrumentals and Rittmo posted his poetry. Somehow we came together and joined the two, Rittmo sent me the vocal take and I pasted it over the music, it was not any more complex than that, it was perfect simplicity and 'Leprechauns' was the result. That was in 2010, we did two more that I have been unable to find, I'm still looking for them. May he rest in peace and his poetry lives on ... thank you Rittmo.

Leprechauns are shoemakers cobblers by trade, no taller than a boy in the fifth grade

Green as grass with mischievous brown eyes, as ugly as they are agile and spry


Loners, they avoid contact with all mortals and fairies,

Who don't mind at all as Leprechauns are very scary,

They guard the Fairy Queens gold 24 hours a day, at least that's what the Leprechauns say.


When Leprechauns drink beer a clurichaun is born


A clurichaun is a leprechaun with a big nose, when no-one is looking and no-one ever is.


Travelling amongst mortals they are the slickest of thieves, whether you are short or tall,

They will lead you to believe, all of your treasure is theirs, all this time it's been on loan,

With interest times ten squared they will soon have all that you own.


They guard the fairy Queen's gold 24 hours a day, at least that's what the Leprechauns say.


In the morning it gets poured into a pot of gold but no-one knows how these riches came into the fold, for in the morning sun a clurichaun is a leprechaun again.
