A tribute to Rittmo, who upon hearing this track in its first, instrumental form, wrote the following words, that I've included in the track:

it was the great blackout of twenty ninety nine
the longer the dark lingered, the more we knew
the chicken fingers, and all the trimmings
would soon go missing, it was time for a worldwide BBQ
all the races, all the sects in survival mode
it was clearly time to fire up the coals
and the space travelers could see the smoke signals
billowing up through the darkness, had somebody
finally dropped the bomb, was there an all out call for alarm
or had the oft strange demented minds, found a common goal
beyond the boundaries of ultimate control
could the sacrifice of flaming flesh, the dirth of blood and guts
be the beginning of peace on earth, for us wild pack of mutts
could one slip along the enlightened grid
cause a universal eclipse, and though you may claim
not to know the answer, perhaps it already did....????
